I first discovered backcountry skiing at the age of 12 on the eastern flanks of Mt Washington in North Central NH.  Since then, like many others before me,  I have dedicated myself to the pursuit of skiing: in all forms, shapes, and sizes. Although my travels have brought me to many special and powerful places around the world, I now currently call Bozeman Montana home.
In addition to my passion for skiing, I am equally passionate about my career as an Outdoor Educator. I started instructing for the Colorado Outward Bound School in 2011, and have been hooked ever since.  It is through Outward Bound that I feel I can truly create change in the world, and share with others the extraordinary power of wild spaces.
since the winter of 2016, I have supplemented my career as an outdoor educator with professional mountain guiding.  Throughout the year I blend together work contracts with Montana Alpine Guides, Montana Alpine Adventures, and Mountain Trip.   Throughout my busy schedule, I still to find time to make frequent visits to ski in the Tetons, and travel abroad each year to put fresh tracks in previously unskied locations.
In the future, I strive to live compassionately, to ski in the purest form possible, and to inspire others to create their own stories.
