I first discovered backcountry skiing at the age of 12 on the eastern flanks of Mt Washington in North Central NH.  Since then, like many others before me,  I have dedicated myself to the pursuit of skiing in all forms, shapes, and sizes. Although my travels have brought me to many special and powerful places around the world, I now currently call Bozeman Montana home.
In addition to my passion for skiing, I am equally passionate about my career as a Mountain Guide. I started instructing for the Colorado Outward Bound School in 2011, and have in the field since.  It is through Guiding and Outdoor Education that I feel I can truly create change in the world, and share with others the extraordinary power of wild spaces. In the last 11 years, I have worked for a variety of companies in a wide range of locations.
Since the winter of 2016, I have supplemented my career with professional Ski Patrolling.   Throughout the year I blend together work contracts from Outward Bound, Montana Alpine Guides, Exum Mountain Guides, Mountain Trip AK, and Bridger Bowl Ski Patrol.  I am currently an AMGA certified Ski Guide, and am continuing to work towards my IFMGA accreditation.  Throughout my busy schedule, I still to find time to make frequent visits to ski in the Tetons and travel abroad each year to put ski tracks in previously un-skied locations.
In the future, I strive to live compassionately and to inspire others to create their own stories.
